From 3 to 6 in Brussels, the AEvO partnership officially launched the project with its first transnational kick-off meeting, hosted by Wallonie Bruxelles Enseignement, the project’s coordinating organisation.
All project partners were present, marking the start of a shared European journey focused on rethinking career orientation for young learners aged 12–15. The meeting represented an important moment to align visions, strengthen collaboration, and set the foundations for the next three years of work.
During the four-day meeting, partners discussed the overall project structure, objectives, timelines, and first implementation steps. Particular attention was given to the evolutionary approach to guidance that defines AEvO: a student-centred, inclusive pathway that supports young people in exploring identity, motivation, strengths, and future opportunities.
Wallonie Bruxelles Enseignement, as host and project coordinator, warmly welcomed the partnership and facilitated productive working sessions, exchanges of good practices, and strategic discussions. The meeting also provided space for informal moments, reinforcing trust and cooperation among partners coming from different European education systems.
This kick-off meeting marks the official beginning of the AEvO adventure. With a strong partnership, shared commitment, and a clear roadmap, the project is now ready to move forward — developing innovative tools, supporting teachers, and empowering students across Europe to imagine and build their future.
Stay tuned for updates, activities, and insights from the AEvO journey.
